Midcoast Clinic of Hypnotherapy was founded by Yves Brinkmann, C.Ht. (b. 1975). Yves grew up in Europe and studied psychology and hypnosis at the University of Hamburg, Germany. He moved to Midcoast Maine in 2015 and has been in private practice in Yarmouth since 2018.

Yves is a Certified Hypnotherapist, an Intuitive and a Reiki Master/Teacher. He is an honors graduate of Hypnosis Motivation Institute in California, the first nationally accredited college and clinic of hypnotherapy in the USA. He is a professional member of the American Hypnosis Association.

Yves specializes in helping clients with insomnia, anxiety, fears/phobias, pain management and trauma. He also works hypnotically on topics like stress reduction, motivation, confidence, work/athletic performance, weight loss, habit control, fertility and childbirth.

When appropriate, Yves integrates intuitive guidance and implementation for spiritual alignment and Reiki energy healing into his therapeutic work, offering a holistic approach to his clients' physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.

All client sessions are subject to confidentiality. Some issues may require Yves to work as an adjunct under referral from your medical doctor, dentist or psychotherapist.

Leah Danoff, C.Ht. (b. 1983) joined Midcoast Clinic of Hypnotherapy in 2020. She studied Psychology (BA) and Special Education (MA) with a focus on Learning Disabilities at American University, Washington DC, USA and University of Cape Town, South Africa. Leah moved to Maine in 2016 and has been in private practice since 2017, after supporting children as a learning specialist for over 15 years.

Leah is a Certified Hypnotherapist, an Intuitive and a Reiki Master/Teacher. She is an honors graduate of Hypnosis Motivation Institute in California, the first nationally accredited college and clinic of hypnotherapy in the USA. She is a professional member of the American Hypnosis Association.

Leah specializes in helping children aged 7+, young adults and adults with anxiety, worry, fears/phobias, impulse control, challenges with attention, social situations, low self-esteem, learning related challenges and executive functioning. She also works hypnotically on topics like sleep, pain management, stress reduction, focus, retention, motivation and confidence. With a strong background in education, Leah is able to support her clients both academically and therapeutically.

When appropriate, Leah integrates intuitive guidance, sound healing and Reiki energy healing into her therapeutic work, offering a holistic approach to her clients' physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.
